Presentation

Presentation: Meeting new knowledge and skills.

As trainers, we like to keep a low profile. We prefer to get out of the way and let real learning take place.

Learning is not a passive, but active; not static but dynamic.

And our training "presentations" take into account how individuals really process information and turn it into knowledge.

Therefore we apply in our training programmes all the innovation and creativity we can muster to craft opportunities for learning to take place - whether it is a test-teach-test scenario, a guided discovery activity, a brain-storming activity or a simulation. We have even been known to send our participants on fact-finding missions within their organisation, to discover for themselves best practices and most effective techniques.

The point of the presentation stage is not presenting at all - it is meeting and integrating knowledge according to the learners' own learning styles. The measurement is not time, but results and productivity.  And it is definitely not measured in the slickness of the training manual of the gadgetry of the PowerPoint slides.
